Montrose Armchair

The Montrose is a chair on a grand scale with a wide, indulgent seat that invites you to sink back and take life easy.

All about the arms: both the top edge and the bottom edge are curved to create the stand-out, retro shape of the Montrose’s arms. Add to this, the high front feet dropping down to lower feet at the back and you get a chair that looks wonderfully laid-back and indulgent.

  • Retro-style 1940s arms _ shaped on top and bottom edge.
  • Features twin piping detail.
  • Different front and back feet.
  • Arms fully wadded and padded in layers by hand.

  • A big thank you Delcor, over 20years ago I bought a pair of Lofa Sofas(you still had details of original order) from the Glasgow store. The sofas during this time have had normal wear including the rough and tumble when grandkids visit. There is no sign of wear to the fabric, I have washed to seat pad covers on several occasions over the years (no fading or shrinkage). I wanted to replace to seat and back pads with a firmer filling, I’m delighted to say this has been done to above and beyond my expectations, I now have a very comfortable, firmer sofa to suit my needs. Sofa looks great, and all fits perfectly, I’ve got the best of both having kept the other sofa with the pads.
