The Georgian wing chair

The Georgian harks back to refined beautiful furniture of a bygone age.  Inspired by the classic wing chair, popularised in the 18th century often found in British country houses and properties. This is a chair to enjoy in your home and a piece that become an heirloom for the future.

With its elegant silhouette and cabriole legs, the aesthetic appeal of the 18th century has been aptly captured and combined with modern comfort. Designed and handcrafted by our talented Northumbrian artisans.

The Georgian Wing chair is extremely comfortable, thanks to a fully sprung base and back, for added support. Pictured here, in traditional sage green leather; a favourite colour of the early Georgian era. Make your Georgian wing chair unique by choosing from a world of fabrics and leathers.

  • A big thank you Delcor, over 20years ago I bought a pair of Lofa Sofas(you still had details of original order) from the Glasgow store. The sofas during this time have had normal wear including the rough and tumble when grandkids visit. There is no sign of wear to the fabric, I have washed to seat pad covers on several occasions over the years (no fading or shrinkage). I wanted to replace to seat and back pads with a firmer filling, I’m delighted to say this has been done to above and beyond my expectations, I now have a very comfortable, firmer sofa to suit my needs. Sofa looks great, and all fits perfectly, I’ve got the best of both having kept the other sofa with the pads.
